September 2026
September 2026 CCB payment date
Canada Child Benefit deposit
Friday, September 18, 2026
Shifted earlier from the September 20th because the 20th falls on a weekend. CRA always pays on the last business day before.
What hits your account on this date
One deposit, federal CCB plus most provincial top-ups (Ontario OCB, BC Family Benefit, NB CTB, Nova Scotia CB, PEI Child Benefit, NL Child Benefit, Yukon CB, NWT CB, Nunavut CB). Quebec and four others run their own schedules — listed below.
Don't see it by end of business that day? Check your direct-deposit account at the CRA My Account portal first; if it shows “sent” but you haven't received it, allow 5 business days before contacting CRA at 1-800-387-1193.
Other provinces with separate schedules
- Quebec — Allocation famille. Quarterly via Retraite Québec (Jan / Apr / Jul / Oct), not with CCB.
- Alberta — ACFB. Quarterly Aug / Nov / Feb / May, separate from your monthly CCB.
- Saskatchewan — SLITC. Paid with the federal CGEB (formerly the GST/HST credit), quarterly.
- Manitoba — MCB. Application required; paid by the province on its own schedule.
- Nunavut — RC66 required. Nunavut does not auto-issue via birth registration. Use Form RC66.

How much will it be?
CCB is based on your adjusted family net income from your most recent tax return. The federal max is $8,157/year per child under 6 and $6,883/year per child 6–17 for the 2026–27 benefit year. Add your province's supplement on top.
